Kaolin
Kaolin Clay
Kaolin is a naturally occurring clay mineral known for its fine texture and soft white appearance. Formed over time through the natural weathering of certain rocks, this earth-derived ingredient has a long history of use in ceramics, cosmetics, and traditional formulations.
At Kaptainic, we incorporate kaolin clay into our cold process soapmaking craft to help create a refined bar experience. Its silky texture adds to the feel of our soaps, while also playing a role in how we prepare and blend our carefully selected scents before each batch begins its journey.
Why We Use INCI Names
INCI (International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient) names are the standardized ingredient names used for cosmetic labelling. They provide a consistent way to identify ingredients around the world, helping customers understand exactly what goes into every bar.
