Nootka Sound
Nootka Sound sits on the wild northwest coast of Vancouver Island, where old-growth cedar meets the open Pacific. Mist hangs in the canopy, waves break against rock, and the forest holds a quiet that goes back thousands of years. This bar draws from that stillness.

Nootka Sound
Northwest coast of Vancouver Island
Nootka Sound opens up on the northwest coast of Vancouver Island, where towering Sitka spruce and old-growth cedar crowd the shoreline right down to the waterline. Captain Cook landed here in 1778, the first European to step foot on BC soil, but the Nuu-chah-nulth people had called it home for over four thousand years before that.
The mist rarely lifts fully, and the forests run deep enough to lose yourself in. It's a place that moves slowly and doesn't ask you to keep up. That quiet is what we put in this bar.
